VBAC training
Supporting clients preparing for birth after a previous caesarean.
Gain knowledge, tools, and confidence in supporting your clients considering vbac.
More people having caesarean births = more people looking into their options for birth after a previous caesarean.
They need you. They need a safe space to learn and discuss their options, with evidence based info and a non-judgemental, non-directed way.
Women/birthing people who had a difficult birth and/or caesarean are more likely to seek support. The information for parents-to-be considering vbac is not great. They need a safe space to discuss their thoughts, worries, questions, and options.
So whether you are a doula, a hypnobirthing practitioner, pregnancy yoga teacher, antenatal teacher, or other service provider, you need to be up-to-date and knowledgeable on birth after caesarean.
Training also suitable if you are a volunteer as a lay person on an Maternity Voices Partnership group (MVP), or you are just interested in supporting families, but do not have a related business. Discount available.

Why train with me?
About the trainer
I’m Cathy, Chilled Mama, doula, antenatal teacher, parenting practitioner, and trainer. I’ve been running vbac workshops since 2015, and supporting parents-to-be for over 20 years. It is particularly rewarding to support people considering vbac.
I started off running a home birth group in 2001, and that quickly spawned a ‘Facing birth again’ group for those who weren’t planning a home birth, but had a previous traumatic and/or caesarean birth and were looking for support. I love helping families, both the birthing person and their partner, take control of their journey.
Half of my doula clients have had previous caesareans, with most of them going on to hbac water births, though, obviously, not all. I have also supported parents 1-1 to go through their birth options preparations for birth after caesarean. Oh, and I have a hbac online course which has been accessed by over 300 people.
“I did you hbac course online! I just wanted to thank you so much!! I transferred into hospital as I personally struggled with pain but had the most beautiful vbac with an epidural. Jumped up onto my knees for guided pushing and only 2 stitches. I had the most incredible and healing experience. Thank you so so much.”
